GENERAL BOOKING RULES

  • All bookings are to be made through the Club’s online booking system. Either by the member/guest or by the Booking Officer. 
  • Groups of 15 or more may book and pay at a later date. This is at the discretion of the Booking Officer and is mainly applied to school groups. Group booking requests made prior to guest bookings opening will be considered by the Committee of Management.
  • The preferred method of payment is VISA or MasterCard via our secure payment gateway at the time of booking. However, we will accept electronic fund transfer (EFT) payments made to our bank account. If you select this option at checkout, your booking will be marked as tentative and will not be confirmed until payment is received by McMillan. Cash payments are not accepted.
  • If payment is not received within 7 days of booking, McMillan may cancel your booking. You will be notified if this occurs.
  • A 2-night minimum stay applies for winter bookings. This may be adjusted at the discretion of the Booking Officer.
  • Check-in or check-out cannot fall on a Saturday.
  • Infants are less than 2 years old and will not occupy a bed. Children are under 18 years old.
  • Confirmation of a booking will be sent via email to the individual who makes the booking. A welcome email including the door code will be sent 5 days prior to your stay.
  • All Linen (sheets, doona covers, pillowcases and towels) is provided at an additional fee. This is currently set at $22 per person per stay up to 2 weeks.  This charge is applied to all ski season bookings. You must use the linen provided.
  • Check out time is 2.00pm and Check in time is 4.00pm. Members and guests have no rights with respect to the use of the lodge outside of these time.
  • All published rates and linen fee are inclusive of GST.

ROOMS:

  • Bookings are by the room for Rooms 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9.
  • For Rooms 1-4, 6 and 9, all beds must be paid for when booking. An “empty bed” tariff will be applied for any beds left empty in a room.
  • For Rooms 7 and 8, the room can be booked for 2 people with no additional charge for the empty bed. A third person can be booked in at the applicable rate if required.
  • Room 5 is a shared bunkroom, and it is available to be booked by the bed. Please note that children are not permitted to be booked into this room unless authorised by the Booking Officer.
  • Although, in most cases, you will be allocated the room that you select at the time of the booking, there may be circumstances where the Booking Officer or Lodge Manager may need to reallocate rooms. If this occurs, the reallocation will be to the same type of room and the guest/member notified. Final allocation of rooms is at the discretion of the Booking Officer.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Any refunds for accommodation will be provided on the following terms:

  • When notice of cancellation is provided 30 days or more prior to arrival, a 90% refund will be provided.
  • When notice of cancellation is provided within 15 to 30 days of arrival, a 50% refund will be provided.
  • Refunds are not available for cancellations within 14 days of arrival except due to medical reasons. A medical certificate may be requested.

 The Committee may, at its sole discretion, choose to consider refunding a cancellation due to extraordinary circumstances.
